World observes first autism awareness day!!

The General Assembly of the United Nations designated April 2 as World Autism Awareness Day beginning in 2008.

TODAY THE UNITED NATIONS and Autism Syndrome Disorder (ASD) organizations around the world are observing the first World Autism Awareness Day.

Why would a community of nations usually neck-deep in issues relating to peace, poverty and pollution, among other grievous concerns, want to drum up international attention for a disability like ASD?

The answer is simple. ASD has become a global epidemic.
Today is like the first autism awareness day and i wanted to help spread the word as such conditions always touch my heart that the world as a whole is comming together to support somthing that has such an impact on so many people all over the world!!
So you Might ask what is Autism? : well i have found alot of information to help people understand what it is they are offsite links but enjoy i hope that people really check it out...

If anyone here is affected by this than they can probably relate to the importance of awareness and what a great thing that there is now a day that is dedicated to this, as we all know every little bit helps when trying to concur and overcome!
